Find some Picture Prompts in magazines, newspapers, comics, or photos, at home, or if there are objects around the house that inspire you to write.

If I were: A Shakespearean Character.
Main Task: Sonnets - The theme for these can be love, mortality, nature or a personal memory.
Sonnets can be complicated so we are breaking it right down to the basic 14 line poem, with 4 Stanzas - the first 3 Stanzas consist of 4 lines each, these are known as Quatrains. The final Stanza is a Couplet, which consists of 2 lines.
The rhyming is: 1st Stanza - ABAB, the 2nd Stanza - CDCD, the 3rd Stanza - EFEF, and finally the Couplet rhymes GG.
This means the first and third rows have to rhyme with each other, and the second and fourth rows have to rhyme with each other, and finally the Couplet lines rhyme with each other.

Unfortunately, there will be no Write Along Tuesday in April.

Speaking with Care - This is a women-only event
When: Original start date was Saturday 21st February 2026 onwards, every other Saturday, see dates below.
Where: Ridgeway Rise Care Home, 40 Richardson Road, Blunsdon Saint Andrew, SN25 4DS
Time: 3pm to 4pm
Cost: FREE
A gentle speaking circle where women build confidence at their own pace, while sharing meaningful moments with care home residents. Speaking with Care is a confidence-building speaking circle for women, hosted in partnership with Care Homes. Hosted by the Works 360 Foundation.
The Event is on every other Saturday starting from:
21st February,
7th March,
21st March,
4th April, and so on.
