Dear Writers,
Please be aware that Artswords will be taking a break for the whole of August, and will return in September. Words on Wednesday would like to thank Matt and the team for organising such amazing events, and working so hard behind the scenes. We hope you enjoy your holidays, and we look forward to seeing you again in September.
Please note that we cannot confirm Artswords dates until we receive Artswords Newsletter on the 1st day of each month, so we really appreciate your patience. Just a reminder that the Artswords Writer's Kitchen and Artswords Writer's Cafe now cost £2 per session, but grants are available for those who cannot afford the costs.

Main Task: You go to a carboot sale where you discover a strange object calling to you. You buy it, but before going home you become curious about its origins. You return to the seller, but their car has mysteriously disappeared. You return home to discover the object you bought is not what it seems. TASK: Write a mystery around the object you bought.

Poetry in the Pub
When: Every last Wednesday of the month - 26th August, 30th September, and 28th October
Time: 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Where: The Pulpit, 7 Devizes Road, Old Town, SN1 4BJ

This is a very exciting evening, where you can sit back, relax, enjoy a drink and listen to a wonderful evening of verse with resident, and guest poets, plus open spots.
