Words on Wednesday 14th January 2026

 Dear Writers,

Please note that we cannot confirm Artswords dates until we receive Artswords Newsletter on the 1st day of each month, so we really appreciate your patience.  Just a reminder that the Artswords Writer's Kitchen and Artswords Writer's Cafe now cost £2 per session, but grants are available for those who cannot afford the costs.

Here's your weekly update:

This week's Extra Task:
Continue writing your story from the Main Task: You get invited to a murder mystery party where an actual murder takes place.  Try to unravel the chaos that ensues.

Sneaky peek at next Week's Tasks:
If I were: A mode of transport.
Main Task: First commercial flight of Concord.  TASK: You break the sound barrier on Concord, afterwards, something goes wrong, and you are diverted to a strange island.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE DIARY:
Write Along Tuesday, (W.A.T) - Central Library, Downstairs
If you are free between 1pm to 2.30pm on a Tuesday, and you are in town, why not join Penni, (Co-Facilitator, Words on Wednesday), for a different style of writing group, by bringing along your own writing projects you are working on.

This is a wonderful time to write with others, rather than by yourself.  When writing with other people, you can garner ideas, and help with your writing if you feel stuck.  It can be better to write in a group rather than by yourself.

This will only be taking place until February half term, and after that if people are not attending it will be CANCELLED after this time.
