Words on Wednesday - 25th March 2026
Dear Writers,
Please note that we cannot confirm Artswords dates until we receive Artswords Newsletter on the 1st day of each month, so we really appreciate your patience. Just a reminder that the Artswords Writer's Kitchen and Artswords Writer's Cafe now cost £2 per session, but grants are available for those who cannot afford the costs.
Here's your weekly update:
This week's Extra Task:
Continue writing your Swindon Writing IV Submissions - please remember to submit your pieces in Word Documents and via email directly to Swindon Writing, please do not submit to WoW as we will not be able to forward them.
Sneaky peek at next Week's Tasks:
If I were: A favourite April Fool's Day prank, what would you be?
Main Task: History behind April's Fools Day - TASK: Write a piece about how you would create your own April Fool's Day prank.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE DIARY:
Write Along Tuesday, (W.A.T) - Central Library, Downstairs
If you are free between 1pm to 2.30pm on a Tuesday, and you are in town, why not join Penni, (Co-Facilitator, Words on Wednesday), for a different style of writing group, by bringing along your own writing projects you are working on.
This is a wonderful time to write with others, rather than by yourself. When writing with other people, you can garner ideas, and help with your writing if you feel stuck. It can be better to write in a group rather than by yourself.
Due to a lack of support and attendance, this Writing Group will, from April, be going down to once a month rather than every week.
There's only one weekly session of Write Along Tuesday left, before going to once a month.
